I am a Central Coast native with a passion for writing. During my undergrad at Cal Poly, I majored in Nutrition and discovered grant funding is essential for many programs I worked with. After graduation, I volunteered with AmeriCorps/ FoodCorps and continued to learn the importance of reporting and program compliance to secure and maintain grant funding. I have since earned a Master of Arts Degree in Grant Writing, Management, and Evaluation from Concordia University. 

In addition to my education, I have experience managing grant funds as a grant writer and as a federal grant administrator. I believe in an outcome-based approach to developing proposals and have secured millions of local, state, and federal dollars for diverse projects and programs; including, community services and public infrastructure improvements.
